Well, tonight marks a week since I have see Jessica. I’m really bored, lonely and wish she was home. I have kept myself busy with family dinners and cooking for Liz and Nathan. Last night I made spaghetti since Jessica was out of town and invited Nathan and Liz over for dinner. I hope they liked it and were not just humoring me. Regardless, I only make spaghetti when Jessica is gone since she is not a fan of the red sauces. During and after dinner, Nathan and I watch as his tigers beat the hated Yankees 16-0. Nathan was very excited.
College Football starts this week! I’m pumped. I am ready for Saturdays at Chilli’s with Jessica watching and hoping the Sooners will prevail in all their games! Nonetheless, win or lose; I am still a fan of good football.
I think Faith is more ready for Jessica to come home. She is not liking to sleep by herself on Jessica’s pillow. Jessica is coming home tomorrow night. She is due in around 10:05. I will be there with bells on ready to see her! She is going to have a 4 day weekend and I will have a 3 day weekend! We are looking forward to spending some time together…finally for the first time in 4 weeks!

My weekend
Friday afternoon I packed up and headed out to Missouri for a fun weekend with Jessica’s Grandpa. I had told him a few months ago that I would take him up to St. Louis to go to their travel and transportation museum. I decided to leave around noon on Friday to beat out the OKC to Tulsa traffic and the storms that were moving in.
I arrived in Springfield around 4:30 and was greeted with Grandpa in the garage cleaning it out. After helping him stretch to put things away, it was time to get a bite for dinner. We went to Western Sizzlin, (Sizzlin Steakhouse) as Grandpa calls it. We had a nice evening, just hanging out and talking.
Grandpa and I wake up and leave the house around 7:30 Saturday and begin the drive to St. Louis. We end up getting there around 11:30 and go into the museum. Boy did Grandpa have a good time. We were there about 3 hours and drove back. Had another nice evening at the house.
Woke up this morning and started driving back around 7:30 this morning to have a day at the house and rest before beginning work next work.

My B-day is in 2 weeks! I will have a busy birthday weekend. Birthday on Friday and Golf tournaments on Saturday and Sunday. I know, I know…but someone’s gotta do it!

100 things about me.
Jessica told me that I should do this. Since I am off work for the next few days, I thought I would sit for a few minutes and do this.
1 I try to laugh or make people laugh everyday
2 I am watching my nephew play the Wii on my day off
3 I have a great team of estimators working for me
4 I love road trips
5 I could drive all day long
6 I love road trips with Lowell
7 I honestly think Branson, MO is a really fun place
8 I am blessed to have a great job
9 I love my wife more than anything in the world
10 Jessica is a very understanding person
11 Golf is a VERY expensive habit
12 I HATE walking a golf course, even though it is great exercise
13 If I could wear a hat everyday for the rest of my life, I would be happy
14 Washington D.C is one of the coolest places I have ever been.
15 Jessica and I have been talking about going to Calgary and Banff Canada
16 Those place fall into the category from No. 14
17 Mason and Easton are great Wii Players. (Mason wanted me to put that in here)
18 Jessica and I have been trying to have a baby for 20 months now
19 It has been very stressful on the both of us
20 I hate wearing slacks. I love jeans or shorts

25 My best friend is Robert. He has 2 kids so we only get to see each other at work
26 I am a workaholic. Even though I am on vacation, I have been checking and answering email all day today.
27 I will be on a conference call tomorrow at 9:00 A.M.(on my day off)
28 My mom is a very understanding person.
29 My dad has a gambling problem…HE ALWAYS WINS!!!!!!
30 Robin and I bring out the comedians in each other
31 I miss sitting with my grandpa and watching Atlanta Braves games in the summer
32 I was left out of my grandma’s eulogy, but my 6 month old Nephew was mentioned.
33 I broke my knee in a freak hacky-sack game
34 I just beat Mason in Wii Baseball…he did put up a fight
35 I think the Dallas Cowboys will win the Superbowl this year
36 I am not a pack rat and I can’t stand clutter.
